What an amazing woman!
Mrs Doyle is the priests housekeeper.She does absolutely everything for them,including washing Dougal in the bath!!!
Her favorite thing to do for the priests is making them all a "nice cup of tea".
Mrs Doyle is abit of a mystery.We know she was once married but she never speaks about her husband apart from once saying
"Their was one time my husband...I've said to much" and then she promptly shuts up.
Mrs Doyle often stays up all night in the hope one of the priests will come down stairs and want a cup of tea.All of her friends
are referred to as Mrs. and she only seems to be friends with people who are also housekeepers.Mrs Doyle also had a friend
who was robbed or litterly stolen when she was walking down the street.
Mrs Doyles favorite singer is Eoin MacLove.His character is based on Daniel O'Donnell.Mrs Doyle once had a crush on the local
Milkman Pat Mustard.Ted gets him fired and Dougal took his job.All Mrs Doyle has to remember him is a few photos she stole
off Ted.Ted took the photos while Pat Mustard was going around doing his rounds.....of women.
For Christmas Father Ted bought Mrs.Doyle a tea machine but he might as well of stuck a knife in her back.She was deeply hurt
and distressed about the tea machine and eventually sabotaged it with a knitting needle.Eventually she tells Ted she wants
to make the tea because she loves it and he lets her off to do what she does best...making tea..
If only everyone could have a person like Mrs Doyle who is constantly making tea.................
